Where Do Kitties Go?

I love having a four year old! They are so innocent at this age and want to know the answer to everything, like where do kitties go when they die. This question came up when we passed a poor dead cat on our daily walk around our neighborhood. Brooklyn says to me, "Mommy do kitties go to heaven when they die?" I thought to myself, do cats go to heaven when they die? I said "yes, they go live with Jesus" to try to avoid a long explanation. Brooklyn says to me "is that cat EVER going to go to heaven or is it just going to keep laying on the road." I love the sweet and simple way that these little ones think! I love you my Brooky!

4th of July at Bear Lake!

For the 4th of July we spent the day at Bear Lake with my family. Brooklyn and Jager loved the water, though Jager was a little reluctant to play in the water after he felt how cold it was. His favorite part by far was playing in the sand and throwing it into the lake. Brooklyn asked for weeks if we could roast marshmellows, light sparklers, and go berry picking while we were at the lake. I'm not sure where the berry picking idea came from, but we did get to roast marshmellows and light sparklers! Thank you grandma and grandpa for the fun 4th of July at the lake!

Blogging For Fun!

So I was forced to begin blogging back in 2004 for dental hygiene school, and I hate being forced to do anything. Now I want to blog for fun, and to keep grandparents and my brother the missionary in touch. What better way to keep in touch than the Busby family blog! Grandpa, by the way I need another copy of all the cute photos you have so I can post pics of my babies. I haven't quite figured out how to customized my blog yet, so when I finally do I will post pics.
